UK RV Permits • Non-Reserved RV's
What time may I bring my RV on Campus?
RV's will NOT be allowed on campus until 9:00 am on Friday morning prior to game day. Your vehicle will be subject to tow if found in a campus parking lot prior to this time.
When and where will the RV's be staged?
Beginning Friday morning at 9:00 am, RV's will be staged in the Soccer / Softball Complex parking lot. An attendant will issue a control number to each RV based on its arrival in the staging area. You must be present with your RV (and permit) to receive a control number. On occasion, due to events at the Soccer/Softball Facility on Friday evening, RV's will be staged in alternative parking lots. Parking staff will provide directions upon your arrival.
When and where will the RV's be moved to the Game Day RV Lot?
On Friday evening at 6:00 pm, RV's will be moved to the Commonwealth Stadium RV lot, giving the first vehicle in line the first priority of where to park.
During normal University operations, the Commonwealth Stadium RV lot serves as employee parking for the VA Hospital and BCTC employees. There will be several cars parked in this lot upon your entry, all with appropriate UK Parking permits. UKAA and/or UK Parking will not tow or relocate these cars in any way, to accommodate RV parking and we ask that you please park in such a manner to allow these cars to exit the lot, free from obstruction.
How may I park in the Game Day RV Lot?
Persons are not permitted to 'reserve' spots in the RV lot at any time. Placing chairs and/or sitting as a means to reserve space will not be permitted. All RV spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Personal spaces do not exist and you might park in a different spot each game.
Please ensure that you park single file inside the lot. The box or square formation is a fire hazard and will not be permitted, by order of the UK Fire Marshal.
If you park your RV on the perimeter of the lot, please only use a two-space width; if you are parking where there are multiple spaces, please use an area that is two spaces in width and two spaces in length. Note that there will be markings on the pavement for the multiple spaces; please stay within the boundaries of those markings.
Is an automobile in-tow permitted in the RV Lot?
Automobiles will NOT be permitted inside the RV lot. The only two exceptions to this policy are:
May I obtain a Parking Structure #1 pass for an additional vehicle accompanying my RV?
Parking Structure #1 passes will NOT be available on Friday nights. Pre-season, we will issue one Parking Structure #1 pass to all RV pass holders if requested. The passes are $90 and the check must be in the RV permit holder's name. Please contact Katie Eiserman (859-257-3718) to request purchase of a Parking Structure #1 Pass
May I bring/use a golf cart?
Due to liability concerns, beginning five (5) hours prior to kickoff, on game day, guests' golf carts may NOT drive around parking lots or the UK Sports Complex and must remain stationary in your lot. The UK Police Department will address guests driving golf carts after this designated time. If this policy becomes unsuccessful in its control, guests' golf carts will be prohibited from being brought into the complex altogether. Thank you for your efforts in assisting us monitor and control this issue, to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance on game day.
