Parking
2009 UK Football Parking Regulations
- Lots are reserved up to one hour before kickoff. During the
one-hour period prior to kickoff, lots will be filled according to
availability. If your designated lot is full upon arrival, you will
be directed to the next available lot.
- Display your hangtag at ALL times.
- Detach your parking ticket stub at the bottom of the hangtag and present
to the parking attendant as you enter the lot. Everyone must
present a ticket to enter.
- Lots are reserved, spaces are not. ONE SPACE - ONE VEHICLE.
- Spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- No open alcoholic containers are permitted at Commonwealth Stadium.
- UK is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
- Any duplication or misuse of this permit may result in loss of parking
privileges
- At approximately 1 hour prior to kick-off, parking staff will
enter into "All Park." At this time, vehicles will be directed into
the closest available lot, regardless of permit color.

Tailgating Policies
- Parking lots open at 8:00 AM on game day.
- Tailgate in back of your vehicle.
- Large industrial-size cookers must be approved by UK Athletics prior
to game day.
- Portable generators must be approved by UK Athletics prior to game
day.
- Banners and signage recognizing businesses may not be posted on Commonwealth
Stadium property unless approved by UK Athletics.
- Caterers must have proper parking permits to be admitted.
- No parking on any green space between the Green, Red, and Blue lots.
- Music should be confined to your tailgate area. Any use of live bands
must be approved prior to game day.
- Tents erected on green space may be no larger than 10'X 10', unless
otherwise approved by UKAA
- Tents may not be erected in parking spaces.
- Fans using a tent or canopy over the tailgate of a vehicle should keep
the travel lanes open for vehicular traffic.
- Due to liability concerns, beginning five (5) hours prior to kickoff,
on game day, guests' golf carts may NOT drive around parking lots or
the UK Sports Complex and must remain stationary in your lot. The UK
Police Department will address guests driving golf carts after this designated
time. If this policy becomes unsuccessful in its control, guests' golf
carts will be prohibited from being brought into the complex altogether.
Thank you for your efforts in assisting us monitor and control this issue,
to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance on game day.
- Properly extinguish and dispose of charcoal and other flammables.
Please do not place them in any dumpster or trash can.

Visitor Parking Suggestions
- Visitors are encouraged to utilize the UK Football
Express - Downtown Route due to the limited nature of non-reserved
parking on or near campus. The Downtown Shuttle picks up at the following
locations:
- Shops at Civic Center ; 430 W. Vine (shuttle tickets available
for purchase at this location)
- LexTran Transit Center ; 200 W. Vine (shuttle tickets available
for purchase at this location)
- Ramsey's; Woodland/High/Maxwell
- On-campus parking is available in the following areas:
- Parking Structure #2 - accessible from University Drive near the
WT Young Library
- Parking Structure #3 - Kentucky Clinic parking off Virginia Avenue
- Parking Structure #6 - On the corner of Virginia Avenue and Press
Avenue
- Parking Structure #7 is operated by UK Parking and opens four (4) hours
prior to kickoff. After the structure opens for business, each vehicle
will be charged a fee of $15 instead of the regular hourly rate. Parking
in the structure will not be restricted to only football fans; however,
the $15 fee will apply. Employee and student permits will not be accepted
during this time. Information about parking in Parking Structure #7 on
days of home football games is available on the PTS web site at www.uky.edu/Parking.

Disability Services
- Non-reserved disabled lot located at the corner of University
Drive and Farm Road , capacity of 120 vehicles ($15/vehicle) - FIRST
COME, FIRST SERVED UNTIL LOT IS FULL. Once the Non-Reserved Disabled
Lot is full, guests will be directed to park in Parking Structures
2 or 6.
- Shuttle : Begins two hours before kickoff. Pick up is located
in the Non-Reserved Disabled Lot ( Tobacco Research Center parking lot).
Drop off point is Gate 9. Return shuttles begin at the end of the 3rd
quarter and continue until 30 minutes after the end of the game.
- A disabled guest golf cart shuttle is available from Gate 9 to any
other gate outside of Commonwealth Stadium.
- Check with the Fan Assistance Desk, located at either Gate 11 on the
south side of the stadium or inside Gate 3 at the CWS office lobby on
the north side of the stadium, for additional help.
