Fans are encouraged to make an early entry to Commonwealth Stadium for the games. Long lines develop at some of the stadium gates just before the the games and fans can help ease that situation by entering earlier for the games.
The
University of Kentucky campus will become completely
tobacco-free
on
November 19, 2009. All members of the campus community, as well as visitors,
will be asked to comply with this new policy, which prohibits the use of
all tobacco products (cigarettes, chew, pipes, cigars, snuff, etc.) on
all campus grounds and parking areas. This includes Commonwealth Stadium,
which began operating as a smoke-free facility in 2008. This policy has
been in effect at the UK Medical Center since Nov. 20, 2008 and will now
apply to all areas of the contiguous UK campus in Lexington, indoors and
out.
UK
Athletics strives to aid and advance sustainability efforts, in both the
UK Campus and Lexington communities, through recycling initiatives. We
encourage every UK fan to be an active participant in this important initiative
both in the parking lots and inside Commonwealth Stadium.
Located next to the public elevator doors inside Gates 1, 4, 9 & 12
Begins 2 hours, 15 minutes before kickoff at the corner of Jerry Claiborne Way and College Way in front of Nutter Field House, on the northeast corner of the stadium. The student-athletes will walk down the hill and enter the stadium at Gate 1.
Personal chair backs are allowed as long as they are 18" or smaller in width.
Chair backs may also be rented at Commonwealth Stadium. Quantities are limited and are only available while supplies last. Sales will begin when gates open, and end when sold out or at the end of the first quarter. They are available at the upper and lower concourses at Gates 4, 9 & 12.
In order to keep Kentucky Football games as enjoyable as possible for all, the University of Kentucky asks that all patrons respect those around them. The University of Kentucky reserves the right to remove any individual from Commonwealth Stadium who displays conduct that may endanger or disrupt players, coaches, officials or other patrons. No refunds are given in such cases.

Public access to the playing field is strictly prohibited. Violators are subject to arrest and prosecution.
Due to liability concerns, beginning five (5) hours prior to kickoff, on game day, guests' golf carts may NOT drive around parking lots or the UK Sports Complex and must remain stationary in your lot. The UK Police Department will address guests driving golf carts after this designated time. If this policy becomes unsuccessful in its control, guests' golf carts will be prohibited from being brought into the complex altogether. Thank you for your efforts in assisting us monitor and control this issue, to ensure a safe environment for all in attendance on game day.
Commonwealth Stadium Office Lobby between Ramps 110-111
Between Ramps 131 & 132 on the south lower concourse.
During the game, items will be taken to Police Assistance between ramps 107 & 108. Postgame, items can be claimed by calling the UK Police Department at 257-1616.
Between Ramps 107 & 108 on the north lower concourse.
The UK Band begins its parade 1 hour before kickoff. The parade will make one lap around the outside of the stadium, starting and ending at Gate 4.
Official game programs are available prior to kick-off at all program stands throughout the concourse and through UK student athletes outside the stadium. Programs are also available during and after the game at all Nike Team shop locations on the lower concourse.
The throwing of any object is strictly prohibited. Patrons identified throwing any objects will be ejected and may be prosecuted.
For security reasons, all persons entering Commonwealth Stadium are subject to search. Arrive early and bring as few personal items as possible. If you are bringing a bag (i.e. large purse, backpack, diaper bag, etc.) into the stadium you will be checked at this section of the gate.

Umbrellas may be brought to the stadium but may not be opened in the seating areas
One unopened bottled water will be allowed in Commonwealth Stadium.
An area with interactive games and activities is located between the Red and Blue lots outside of Gate 9. Activities start 2 hours before kickoff.
