The University of Kentucky campus will become completely tobacco-free on November 19, 2009. All members of the campus community, as well as visitors, will be asked to comply with this new policy, which prohibits the use of all tobacco products (cigarettes, chew, pipes, cigars, snuff, etc.) on all campus grounds and parking areas. This includes Commonwealth Stadium, which began operating as a smoke-free facility in 2008. This policy has been in effect at the UK Medical Center since Nov. 20, 2008 and will now apply to all areas of the contiguous UK campus in Lexington, indoors and out.

UK Athletics strives to aid and advance sustainability efforts, in both the UK Campus and Lexington communities, through recycling initiatives. We encourage every UK fan to be an active participant in this important initiative both in the parking lots and inside Commonwealth Stadium.
